NM Forest Bathing Day 2026
JOIN US for New Mexico Forest Bathing Day 2026
Saturday, September 19th
FREE forest bathing walks offered near Jemez Springs, Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Taos, Albuuerque, and other areas in New Mexico.
New Mexico is home to a growing community of certified guides leading gentle nature immersions.
Drawing on the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-yoku, “forest bathing” invites us to slow our pace, open our senses, and deepen our connection to nature and to ourselves. These guided experiences are not typical hikes; they offer a chance to step away from the rush of everyday life and settle into a slower rhythm of presence. This is a trauma-informed space where all bodies and all paces are welcome.
Whether you're discovering Forest Bathing for the first time or returning to a practice you already love, we welcome you to join us for a FREE walk offered by Jamie, Ryan, or one of our fellow ANFT-certified guides.
This shared day honors communities and landscapes across New Mexico. We can help you find a walk close to you!
